Currently putting the finishing touches on his much-anticipated forthcoming album for new label BMG, Zak Abel has shared brand new single ‘Dance With You (The Comeback)’.
Discussing the song Zak explained, “I wrote this with the legend Tom Misch as lockdown was just lifting. It’s kind of an ode to the freedom that I feel when I’m dancing and letting loose. I really missed that in lockdown and wanted to return to that feeling.’’

The track follows recent single ‘What Love Is’, which the singer co-wrote with Brendan Grieve and long-time collaborator Connor Blake, with Nathan Duvall of Disciples heading up production and mixing by Mark Ralph.
Zak commented, “The song is about trying, even though you’ve been hurt before, or let down and your confidence may be a little bit low, putting yourself out there to try and find love – whatever that means for you.”

Penning his own songs as a 14-year-old and uploading videos to YouTube, he went on to sign a record deal with Atlantic in 2014 and meet with influential music producer, Joker. Zak dropped his four-track EP in 2015, as well as collaborated with Tom Misch & Kaytranada, before going on to release his debut album ‘Only When We’re Naked’ in 2017.
