The Smile have revealed new track ‘Don’t Get Me Started’, out now via XL Recordings.
The release is accompanied by an official music video, directed by audiovisual artist Weirdcore, who has previously worked with the likes of Aphex Twin, Charli xcx and Radiohead.
WATCH IT HERE:
‘Don’t Get Me Started’ is the first new music from the group since their acclaimed sophomore album ‘Wall Of Eyes’, which dropped in January 2024 and went on to achieve No.3 in the UK album charts.
The new single was first debuted during the band’s UK tour in March this year and produced and mixed by Sam Petts-Davies, who produced ‘Wall Of Eyes’, and recorded between Oxford and Abbey Road Studios.
‘Don’t Get Me Started’ follows a very limited edition 2-track 12-inch single released exclusively through record shops globally. The double A-side also features additional new song ‘The Slip’, and is sleeved in XL Recordings’ iconic housebag, re-designed by Stanley Donwood.
