The Smile announce new album ‘Cutouts’, due out on 04 October 2024, via XL Recordings.
The trio have also shared two new tracks off the record, ‘Foreign Spies’ and ‘Zero Sum’, as well as an accompanying video for ‘Zero Sum’, directed by audiovisual artist Weirdcore.

Previously released tracks ‘Don’t Get Me Started’ and ‘The Slip’ dropped earlier this month via a limited edition 2-track 12-inch single at record shops globally.
The new full-length is produced by Sam Petts-Davies and is the band’s third studio album to date following ‘Wall of Eyes’, which released back in January this year, and their 2022 debut ‘A Light For Attracting Attention’.
‘Cutouts’ was recorded in Oxford and at Abbey Road Studios during the same period of time as ‘Wall Of Eyes’. The album features string arrangements by the London Contemporary Orchestra and the album art was painted during the recording process by Stanley Donwood and Thom Yorke.
‘Cutouts’ will be available in standard black vinyl, CD, Limited Edition white vinyl at Indie Retail, Limited Edition purple cassette available from W.A.S.T.E.
