In addition, the multi-platinum selling, multi-award-winning pair have revealed details of their first official book – a career spanning retrospective of their 30-year career – due for publication through White Rabbit on 28 October 2023.
Entitled ‘Paused In Cosmic Reflection’, it is the definitive story of The Chemical Brothers told in the voices of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons and a host of studio collaborators, artists, stage show designers and friends.
Written with longtime press officer Robin Turner, the book is fully illustrated with photography and design work from the Chemical archives, much of it previously unseen. Offering a unique view into the band’s history, it also features exclusive contributions from the likes of Noel Gallagher, Beck, Aurora, Beth Orton, Michel Gondry, Wayne Coyne, Adam Smith (the architect of their hallucinogenic live shows), Erol Alkan, sleeve artist Kate Gibb and many others.
