Supergrass have announced a remastered expanded version of their hugely successful eponymous, self-titled 1999 third album.

Often referred to as The X-Ray Album, the full-length was recorded at the legendary Sawmills Studio in Cornwall with producer John Cornfield, who was also behind the band’s 1995 No.1 debut ‘I Should Coco’ and 1997 sophomore ‘In It for the Money’.

‘Supergrass’ reached No.3 in the UK Album Charts, No.13 in the US Billboard in 1999 and has amassed over 300,000 sales in the UK alone since its release, certifying it Platinum. The album featured lead single ‘Moving’, with second single ‘Pumping Up your Stereo’s accompanying music video earning the band their second BRIT Awards nomination for ‘Best British Video 1999’.

The 2CD + 2x1LP will include a full remaster of the original tracks, sourced and re-produced by the band and their original long-standing record producer — PRE-ORDER HERE.

Since first forming in Oxford back in 1993, the BRIT, Q, NME and Ivor Novello-winning outfit have released five Top 10 albums, including three Platinum sellers. Furthermore, they have achieved 10 Top 20 singles, as well as scored the biggest-selling debut for Parlophone since The Beatles.

Supergrass split in 2010, with the band members going on to lead successful solo careers. Almost 10 years later they appeared together on stage at Glastonbury Pilton Party 2019 for a secret guest slot to announce their return and worldwide reunion tour.

The band is Gaz Coombes, Mick Quinn, Danny Goffey and Rob Coombes.
