Royel Otis have dropped new single ‘Adored’, out now via OURNESS.

The melodic, post-punk-tinged track was produced and mixed by Grammy Award-winning producer Dan Carey (for Wet Leg), and is the Sydney indie duo’s first new music since their ‘Sofa Kings’ EP.

Royel Otis commented, “Adored is about taking time for some DIY TLC. Treat yourself with some leisurely pleasure. Don’t let it bring you down, it’s only castles burning.”

Royel Otis have featured in global playlists including Spotify’s Front Left, Indie Arrivals and Supersound, Apple Music’s Heaps Indie and more. Their music has amassed over 10 million streams and garnered widespread support across community radio, US college radio and BBC Radio 6.

Childhood friends Otis Pavlovic and Royel Maddell dropped their debut EP ‘Campus’ back in 2021. In 2022 they released sophomore EP ‘Bar N Grill’, followed by their first ever European and UK tour. They entered 2023 with a slot in triple j’s Hottest 200 for ‘Oysters In My Pocket’ before the release of their ‘Sofa Kings’ EP this spring.

Currently on their sold-out Australian tour, the duo has lined-up a series of UK festival appearances and tour dates for this summer.
