Rina Sawayama has released new single ‘Hurricanes’.

The anthemic pop-rock track is lifted from her forthcoming sophomore album ‘Hold The Girl’, due out this Friday (16 September).

The new full-length will feature ‘Hurricanes’ alongside previously released tracks ‘Phantom’, ‘This Hell’, ‘Catch Me In The Air’ as well as title track ‘Hold The Girl’.

For the album, which was written and recorded over the last year and a half, Rina teamed up with long-term collaborators Clarence Clarity and Lauren Aquilina as well as enlisted help from the likes of the legendary Paul Epworth, Stuart Price and Marcus Andersson.

‘Hold The Girl’ will be the follow-up to Rina’s 2020 critically acclaimed debut ‘SAWAYAMA’.

The British-Japanese pop sensation is currently gearing up for her UK & Ireland tour, which will kick off this October. This week the songstress is scheduled to play an intimate show with Banquet Records in Kingston, with another gig lined-up at Village Underground in London on 18 September, alongside a string of signing events.
