Dream Wife have shared the title of their new album ‘So When You Gonna’, due to drop this summer.

The trio – Rakel Mjöll, Bella Podpadec and Alice Go – have also shared the album’s title track alongside accompanying music video directed by Aidan Zamiri, filmed at a free live gig they held for their fans back in January. The song follow’s previously released singles ‘Sports!’ and ‘Hasta La Vista’.

Discussing their latest offering Dream Wife commented, “It’s a dare, an invitation, a challenge. It’s about communicating your desires, wholehearted consent and the point where talking is no longer enough. It promotes body autonomy and self-empowerment through grabbing the moment. The breakdown details the rules of attraction in a play by play ‘commentator’ style, inspired by Meat Loaf’s ‘Paradise by the Dashboard Light’.

Furthermore, Dream Wife have been sharing their So When You Gonna… podcast series, with each episode featuring a one-on-one interview with a different creative, connected to the band including friends, collaborators and people who inspire them.

The indie punk rockers will hit the road on a UK tour in April 2021 before heading to Europe to play a further string of shows.
