Dave & Tiakola have released two new singles ‘Meridian’ and ‘Special’.

On the tracks, the BRIT Award-winning rap star and French rapper trade verses back and forth in English, French and Yoruba.

‘Meridian’ is also accompanied by an official music video, shot in Paris, London and New York.

Dave recently teamed up with Central Cee for joint EP ‘Split Decision’, which features the record-breaking single ‘Sprinter’. The track spent an impressive 10 consecutive weeks on top of the UK singles chart, earning the longest-running UK rap No.1 single in UK chart history and the joint longest-running No.1 of 2023.

Furthermore, the chart-topping track broke several streaming records including the biggest week of streams for a rap single ever in the UK, as well as Spotify UK’s most streamed song in a single day in 2023 so far. It is also the most-streamed hip-hop song in the UK in a single day in Spotify history.

In addition, Dave recently collaborated with Oxlade on ‘INTOXYCATED’ as well as reunited with Burna Boy on ‘Cheat On Me’.

Last year saw Tiakola unveil his debut album ‘Mélo’, which is soon to be certified triple-platinum. Following the release, the rapper has quickly become one of the biggest French artists on the current music scene. His chart-topping full-length features hit singles ‘Gasolina’, ‘Mode AV’ and ‘Meuda’.
