Caity Baser has dropped her highly anticipated new single ‘X&Y’.
‘X&Y’ was written by Baser, who teamed up with production duo Future Cat as well as acclaimed producer Digital Farm Animals for the sassy new track, which tells the story of a recent breakup.
Caity commented, “This song is all about saying f*ck you to the people that think they were your ex but because they did you so dirty, they’re not even classed as that anymore. They’re just your ‘WHY’ – like why the frick did I go there.”

The release is the follow-up to the 20-year-old singer’s viral hit ‘Friendly Sex’. The song is her biggest single to date, accumulating over four million streams on Spotify alone.
Caity celebrated the release of the single with a sold-out London performance at The Grace, shortly before announcing her biggest headline shows to date for this September, which sold out within minutes.
The rising artist released her debut mixtape ‘Lil CB’ last year, featuring early fan favourites ‘Haters’ and ‘S.T.D.’.
She has since been highlighted by the likes of BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 1, The Observer, Notion Magazine, Euphoria Magazine, Early Rising and more as the one to watch in pop music today.
