Britney Spears and Elton John are teaming up for a duet of the 1970s classic hit ‘Tiny Dancer’.
The “Rocketman” himself took to social media to confirm the news earlier this week, posting a photo of the song’s new title ‘Hold Me Closer’.

‘Tiny Dancer’ originally featured on Elton John’s 1971 album ‘Madman Across The Water’, and was released as a single in 1972.
‘Hold Me Closer’ will the first new music to come from Britney Spears since her 2016 ninth studio album ‘Glory’. Later in 2020 she revealed an offcut track from the record entitled ‘Swimming In The Stars’ to mark her 39th the birthday. The collaboration will also mark the official return to music for the pop princess since the end of her 13-year conservatorship.
In 2021 Elton John released ‘The Lockdown Sessions’, featuring a tracklist of high-profile duets with artists such as Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Rina Sawayama and more.
The legendary singer-songwriter is currently on his extensive Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, which will return to the UK in spring 2023.
