“After the chaos of the last few years, it’s great to get back out to play some songs together on a summer’s day in London. Hope to see you there.” Dave Rowntree
Following the arrival of their debut album ‘Leisure’ in 1991, Blur revolutionised the sound of English popular music. They went on to release five successive No.1 albums: 1994s Parklife, 1995s The Great Escape, 1997s Blur, 1999s 13 and 2003s Think Tank, as well as a string of Top 10 singles, including two No.1s with ‘Country House’ and ‘Beetlebum’.
One of the biggest British bands of the last three decades, they have released eight studio albums to date and received numerous music accolades including five BRIT Awards and an Ivor Novello Award.
Blur’s most recent album was 2015s critically acclaimed ‘The Magic Whip’, which topped the UK charts on its release.
