Blondie is one of the most influential bands to emerge from New York’s punk scene.
Iconic frontwoman and songwriter Debbie Harry will be accompanied by guitarist and conceptual mastermind Chris Stein as well as powerhouse drummer Clem Burke. Joining them on tour will also be longstanding bandmates bassist Leigh Foxx, guitarist Tommy Kessler and keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohen.
Fans can expect to hear all the biggest hits like ‘Heart Of Glass’, ‘Atomic’, ‘Tide Is High’, ‘Maria’, ‘Sunday Girl’, ‘Rapture’ and ‘Call Me’ alongside tracks from the band’s last studio album ‘Pollinator’, featuring singles such as ‘Too Much’, ‘Long Time’ and ‘Fun’. The album dropped back in 2017 and reached No.4 on the UK charts, making it the group’s first Top 5 entry in over 18 years.
Debbie Harry commented, “Next year’s UK tour is more meaningful to me perhaps than the very first time Blondie played there in the mid-70s. The UK has always been a special place to us, and being able to come back to perform there after sitting out most of 2020 is very exciting.”
Don’t miss the chance to snap up tickets to this double female-fronted band tour when it hits UK shores next year!
