Black Stone Cherry kicked off their Screamin’ At The Sky Tour at the Utilita Arena. They haven’t been back to Cardiff since 2023 with The Darkness, so it’s exciting to see them return.

They hit the stage all guns blazing, which really ramped up the crowd. It was so fantastic to hear people singing their hearts out. Black Stone Cherry came out with ‘Me and Mary Jane’ and performed a great mixture of tracks off all their albums. A personal favourite of mine was when they played ‘In My Blood’, as I love that song from the ‘Between The Devil & The Deep Blue Sea’. Their staging was really fun as it was partially on a ramp, enabling them to run up and down – I wish more bands had that style of setup. They played a few live debuts as well as ‘The Mess You Made’ and ‘American Horse’ with support act Ayron Jones and John Cooper of Skillet.

I absolutely loved the show! It had such a wholesome, feel-good vibe – just what you need to wrap up the weekend and get ready for Monday. Perfect Sunday night entertainment!
