21 Savage has confirmed that his third solo album ‘American Dream’ will drop this Friday (12 January).

The announcement follows the trailer for the Atlanta-based rapper’s upcoming biopic, starring Donald Glover AKA Childish Gambino and Stranger Things’ Caleb McLaughlin.
The four-minute, 20-second clip doubles as a music video for an unnamed track, which could be destined for the upcoming album’s still-to-be announced tracklist.

‘American Dream’ will be the follow-up to 2018s ‘I Am > I Was’. Since then, 21 Savage has shared two collaborative albums, including ‘Savage Mode II’ with Metro Boomin in 2020 and ‘Her Loss’ with Drake in 2022.
The UK-born rapper has also taken to Instagram to post childhood pictures of his new full-length’s collaborators, and has so far revealed that Young Thug, Brent Faiyaz and Summer Walker will feature on the record.
The film American Dream: The 21 Savage Story is expected to arrive this year however an official release date is yet to be confirmed.
In addition, 21 Savage has joined the line-up for Reading & Leeds Festival 2024 alongside the likes of The Prodigy, Skrillex, Jorja Smith and headliners Liam Gallagher, Blink-182 and Lana Del Rey.
