With the sun now finally making an appearance after weeks of overcast and snow you’re probably looking for that track to lift the mood and to bring Spring back into your record collection, well this would be the track! ‘Rox’ is the newest pop and soul female songster hailing from South London.
‘My Baby Left Me’ is an upbeat, soulful track which is very reminiscent of early Lauryn Hill. With its serene versus accompanied by Rox’s (real name Roxanne Tataei) slick lyrics with choruses ‘my baby left me so dry to the bone and he left me alone’ leaving this track a definite mood booster.
Though this track is not relevantly new (since demo’s of this track has been circulating the internet since early 2008) it is defiantly not a disappointment with only subtle changes made to the updated version either the new version or the demo would be a charm in your singles collection.
