Not that I know of.
A possibly farewell tour? I just wish Macca could let it be.

i cant see many Macca fans going to an all standing outdoor gig personally.

true enough - i reckon he’d easily sell out one 50k gig in london tho
presumably he has got a date at heaven in March :o) *
*ok ok, its getting boring now

Bring back the Get To The Front forum, so I don’t have to read all this crap for every tour announced.

Agreed. Most of your info is crap anyway.

I’m not one for letting up a grudge so I will always hate him for the disaster of 2003.
On a serious note, McCartney at the Millenium Stadium? A world away from a one off at the o2, but over the past 18 months I’ve been shocked an awful lot.

I shook my head at the outdoor gigs too …
Posted on March 2nd, 2010 at 19:04
£55-85 for the outdoor gigs, not too bad I guess. Surely won’t be standing at Hampden and Cardiff??

There is a presale at RDS Arena at 9am tomorrow - listed as Fan Club presale. Anyone know where we can get that link from??

I dont get it, why are the A block seats cheaper than B block at Glasgow???
Posted on March 3rd, 2010 at 13:36
Think it is the A Blocks at the side that are £70+ fees and the central blocks of A and B are £85.
All the plans on Seatwave, Ticketmaster and Getmein are wrong.
I got some in AA2 at the front which I thought would be decent seats but now looking at the actual seating plan they are absolutely ****

Sean, you have a great view…..of the East Stand.
Posted on March 3rd, 2010 at 14:14
I’d probably rather look at the East Stand than the stage in this instance

Get your coat Sean

VIP Packages just gone on sale at Live Nation - £469. I paid £275 last year for Springsteen. What a greedy man McCartney is. Putting it mildly.

He needs the money!

hair dye doesnt come cheap these days!
Posted on March 4th, 2010 at 10:29
Call me a bitch but I’m so pleased he isn’t an instant sell out. Greedy man - doesn’t give his fans a break on ticket prices - and nobody rushed to buy his over-priced tickets. Nice.

I’m not sure what the capacity is of Hyde Park for the HRC but I’m guessing it isn’t too much bigger than the Millenium stadium for a concert.
Seriously think they’ll be giving them out with cornflakes for Cardiff and Glasgow nearer the time, there is nothing to prop up these prices. McCartney tickets were given away (on the secondary market) last time he played more than a one off and they’ll be the same again imo

I thought we were not allowed to talk about tickets being over priced or concerts not selling out etc etc..
Or any kind of business view on a concert ticketing situation.
Either we make rules and stick to them or forget it. This is getting very hyprocritical.
Posted on March 6th, 2010 at 14:52
Depends who else they get to play that day.
Posted on March 7th, 2010 at 12:06
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with talking about ticket prices. If you follow these threads (and I do), there’s always a lot of discussion on ticket prices. It’s fascinating stuff and I don’t see why it should be banned IMO.
Posted on March 13th, 2010 at 01:23
I think everything is up for discussion other than stuff about the secondary market - it’s crass and, I would have thought, rather self-defeating for the people involved in that stuff …
