The official launch party of Jagermeister’s Tap Machine was held in Camden, London on Tuesday night. The venue was Lockside Lounge, a diverse bar with a grungy style and proved to be the perfect spot to enjoy the great music, and of course the infamous ‘Jaeger Bombs’.
The crowd were eclectic, chilled and eagerly waiting the performance from Fightstar. Fightstar’s live set, included a mix of new songs, a cover and tracks from their past albums.
Fightstar hit the stage at 10pm and what immediately came across to the crowd was frontman Charlie Simpson laid back attitude, which fitted perfectly with the atmosphere. In all honestly we had not heard much of Fightstar’s material previous to that night, but now we have downloaded their album and can now say we are Fightstar fans. Let’s just say their live set definitely made an impression and left you wanting to hear more from the band. Luckily enough they are headlining their very own tour starting in October and if their set for the Jaeger party is anything to go by fans will not be left disappointed.
