katy1Katy Perry has amazing stage presence which a rebelliousness cheeky charm and charisma, to say her show was high energy would be a major understatement.

Katy is known for being a fashionista, Dressed in a red and black poke a dot dress with a union jack middle, Katy didn’t disappoint and this sure rubs of on her fans with many mini Katy Perry dressed audience members (very adorable).
Katy’s staging was along the theme of her album with giant inflatable Cherry Chapstick, a Flamingo and of course a Strawberry that she later threw into the crowd to be passed around.

Katy dances and jumps around the stage like a women possessed and it’s clear to see that she puts her all into the performances and seems to enjoy every second, despite the many bruises one presumes she must receive from all the crowd diving and full on performances that she gives showing she truly is ‘One of the boys’.

You would think that due to the performance she gives, vocally she may suffer however this is not the case as she gave a solid vocal performance throughout and even played a little acoustic guitar for ‘Thinking of You’.

katy_liveKaty dived into the crowd for both ‘I Kissed a Girl’ and when she sung Queens ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ causing an almighty shift in the crowd as they descended upon her in a crazed frenzy, although this did not seem to phase Katy at all if anything spurred her on further. For ‘Hot and Cold’ Katy chose two very eager 16-year-old boys to dance with her on stage, which made for an amusing performance as they rocked out together and ending by trashing a guitar, which she then gave the boys to keep, much to their delight.

Katy covered a few classic tracks as well as her own pop-punk rock tunes including The Marvelettes ‘Please Mr Postman’ followed by The Foundations ‘Build Me Up Buttercup which then led into Queens ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’, all of which were well received by the crowd who were singing and jumping along throughout.

Katy finished with her anthem track ‘I Kissed a Girl’ in which as previously mentioned she jumps down to the crowd and proceeds to actually kiss a girl and almost gets dragged into the very hot, lively and loud crowd.
