I’d have thought that Jessie J was about ready for an arena tour? Got quite a few hits under her belt, mentor spot on the voice (even if it is crap) and she’s been constantly on the scene and performing at festivals etc..

If that isnt worthy of an arena date then what is? definitely more deserved of an arena date than some of these other artists (avicii, example etc)

You make a good point – in all the nonsense that’s written about the secondary market it’s never mentioned that it can work to the advantage of the more patient, or in the current climate, nervous fan.

that’s what I mean. in the current economy and lack of stability, how could you IMPOSE to someone to commit for an event months away is beyond me. whilst 60-70% of people will buy tickets for events in the upcoming months regardless, the rest of them will wait and see, as you say, if a bargain comes up or if they can actually make the date, or indeed if their financial situation allows it (in that case they will use the secondary market fair enough, with good chances of getting a bargain or paying a little extra). Not giving that option to people is a breach of the most basic consumer right if you ask me. Oh well
